As a medical student, one of the most important things to do is register for the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) examination.

This exam is required to get admission to becoming a doctor in Pakistan. The registration process can be a little confusing, so here’s a guide on how to register for NUMS registration 2025.

Please refer to this article for more information. Detailed instructions will be provided. Additionally, the National MDCAT is a requirement for admission to NUMS-affiliated medical colleges.

The NUMS Entry test pattern has also been revised. The new syllabus has also been posted. NUMS is the university to which PMC offers admission.  Candidate must have 65% marks in intermediate.

NUMS Entry Test Registration (NET) – Step-by-Step Guide

Please follow these steps to do the registration:

• Online registration for the entry test starts Monday the 12th of July (Expected)
• Online Registration for the entry test ends Tuesday 11th August (Expected)
• Last Date recipient of scanned documents 11th August by 1200 hours (Expected)

Step 1 – Visit the Official Website

First, you need to visit the official website of NUMS which is https://numspak.edu.pk/. Find the banner where you will see the button “For Registration, Please Click Here“. The below image is from, you’ll see the same.

Step 2 – First Time User

If you’re a first-time user, click on “First Time User? Click Here to Register“

STEP 3 – CNIC, Name, Email and Password

Enter your CNIC, name as per SSC, email and password. Don’t forget your password. Later on, enter the words that are shown in the image.

STEP 3 – Photograph and CNIC

You must upload your photograph with a blue background. Go to any professional photography studio, they will email you or send to your USB. Moreover, upload your CNIC or Form B or Passport as well.

STEP 4 – Mandatory Fields

You need to fill in all the mandatory fields which are self-explanatory. In the postal address, you need to enter the address where your card will be shipped.

STEP 5 – Selecting Exam Center

Here you have the option to select any exam center.

STEP 6 – Challan Downloading and Printing

Download the Challan, and print it.

STEP 7 – Depositing in Banks

Now print the challan and go to any HBL branch to deposit the challan.

STEP 8 – Uploading the Deposited Challan to the Portal

Take a picture with your phone of the deposited challan and upload it here.

STEP 9 – Uploading the Deposited Challan to the Portal

Downloading the challan that you’ve deposited. Take a picture with your phone.

STEP 10 – Get the Slip

Roll number slips will be uploaded to the NUMS Website after the last date of registration. All students will be able to download slips online by entering CNIC in the portal. You will be guided when slips are made available.

NUMS MCQs Patten

There are 180 multiple-choice questions. Each multiple-choice question carries one point. There is no negative marking.

• Biology 60
• Chemistry 38
• Physics 37
• English 15

Difficulty Level:

• Easy 20%
• Moderate 55%
• Hard 25%

The psychological test comprising of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with a stipulated time of 30 minutes. The time allowed for the test is 3 hours.

What are the Online Registration Instructions?

Please read the instructions carefully before registration.

• Application Form should reach NUMS office by the last date of submission of Registration Form.
• NTS will not be responsible for the late receiving of the Application Form through Courier / Pakistan Post etc.
• The Last Date for Online Submission of the application form is Monday, 19th August (4:00 PM).
• The password must be at least six (6) characters long.
• Secret Question will help you to retrieve your password (in case you forget your password).
• Remember your Password, Secret Question, and Secret Answer.
• After Sign-up, you can Log-in to continue with the application form for the selected admission program.

What are Eligibility Criteria for NUMS
